techniques to help people work past psychological health obstacles. Some are problem-oriented and look for to uncover what is incorrect. Other psychological health professionals, such as strengths-based counselors, aren’t as interested in the problem as they are with what is currently working and what individuals have within them. A strengths-based approach to mental health leans heavily towards checking out, developing,
and utilizing your characteristics and capabilities to go beyond issues; however, that does not indicate that strengths-based therapy never checks out issues.
