The speaker opened up on This Morning about her weight, confessing that there was a time she felt she was ‘dying’.
During her go back to the ITV news program last week alongside Dermot O’Leary, Alison and her co-stars were discussing a newspaper article when she seized the moment to discuss her own experiences, revealing that she once needed to buy an additional plane ticket due to humiliation while travelling,
“I was almost 28 stone I’ll be honest with you which is morbidly obese and I used to purchase an additional seat since I didn’t wish to put anybody in a circumstance where I was touching them,” she stated on Today.

Guest Tom Swarbrick queried her past experience: “Do you think if you had a bigger seat that you would have lost the weight?” In action, Alison shared: “I was larger and I made myself comfortable by purchasing two seats. For several years I was huge and during that time I made my life comfy.”
Gyles Brandreth likewise questioned whether societal pressure played a part in her change: “Due to the fact that the world made you feel uncomfortable, did that motivate you to reduce weight?” to which Alison divulged: “I remained in a situation where I was morbidly obese. I had to drop weight since I was passing away, I truly was dying.”
Finishing her thoughts on individual acceptance, she included: “People will still state I’m big now I’m 17 stone rather than 28 stone and I’m comfy with informing you my weight.”

Now, in a post shared to her Instagram Story, the Great British Bake Off host shared a look into her gruelling exercise regimen. Her personal trainer, Lui Mancini, called Alison ‘the Queen’ in the post and stated they were ‘short on time’ however still handled a ’45-minute circuit’.
